I started my working life the way many great business owners did — on the floor. My first jobs were in retail and janitorial work, and they taught me something I've carried into every role since: a business runs on the people who show up, do the work, and take pride in getting the details right. I've never forgotten it.
From there, I built a career on a foundation of financial discipline. I began as an internal auditor and assurance professional, then moved into management consulting, advising Fortune 1000 executives on their most difficult financial decisions. I learned how businesses actually make money — and where they quietly lose it. Later, as a finance leader responsible for a $900 million operating budget across sites in the U.S. and Europe, I learned to manage real complexity without ever losing sight of the fundamentals.
But I didn't want only to analyze businesses — I wanted to run them. Over more than a decade at a Fortune 500 industrial manufacturer, I grew into a General Manager with full profit-and-loss ownership of a global abrasives portfolio across the Americas. I built the go-to-market strategies, led the teams, and drove the topline growth and margin expansion the business needed. Along the way, I earned my Lean Six Sigma Black Belt because I believe great operations are built, not bought.
Most recently, I've helped lead a private-equity-backed company carved out of that same business — work that has shown me, firsthand, exactly what it takes to grow a focused, independent company quickly and responsibly.
Now I'm bringing all of it — the operator's instincts, the financial discipline, and the respect for frontline work that started this whole journey — to acquiring and growing one great business. I'm not a fund chasing a quick flip. I intend to be a hands-on, long-term owner who builds on what you've created.

Outside of work, I’m invested in my community — Board Chair Emeritus of Yellow Tree Theatre, a former board member of Urban Boatbuilders, and a mentor to young people. I believe leadership is something you carry into every part of your life, including how you treat the people who depend on you.
